University World Cup opens in Lima
36 years after the last Weightlifting World Championships held in Lima, a total of 128 weightlifters are expected to participate in the University World Cup, running from 9th to 12th of August in Callao, next to the Peruvian capital. A strong Pan-American presence is also noted.
