British Association looking for World Class Performance Coach

At the request of the BWLA, herewith is an ad for a new Performance Coach in Britain:

Organisation: World Class Weightlifting
Salary: Competitive salary and benefits package
Location: World Class Lifting, HPC, Leeds
Type of contract: Fixed term up to March 09 and then on the basis of continued funding

Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join the WCL World Class Programmes for Olympic Weightlifting.  The programme aims to develop lifters who can compete on the international stage at major competitions such as the World Championships and Olympic Games.  A significant focus of the weightlifting programme in the next four years will be identifying and ?fast tracking? athletes with the physical and mental attributes to do this.
The World Class Lifting Lead Performance Coach will have lead responsibility for the training and preparation of all athletes on the WCL Weightlifting World Class Plan, the  identification of and development of new talent,  as well as mentoring the development of identified coaches.
