The 1500th WC Medal goes to SHIMKOVA Svetlana
For women competing in the 69kg category winning gold medal was not the only objective during the 6th competition day at the World Championships in Antalya. The winner of gold medal in Clean & Jerk also became the holder of the 1500th World Championship medal. The winner of this historical Gold is the Russian lifter SHIMKOVA Svetlana who performed first place in both Clean & Jerk and in Total. She took over her special prize from the World Weightlifting Magazine’s Editor in Chief Kornel Jancso and Aniko Nemeth-Mora Senior Editor.
