IWF Meeting with Sport Leaders in Kazan, Russia
Mr. Rafis Burganov Minister of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mr. Halil Sayhutdivov Deputy Minister, Mr. Insaf Galiullin Head of International Cooperation Department Executive Committee of Universiade 2013 in Kazan, Mr. Azat Kadyrov First Deputy Director General and Mr. Andrey Rybak Executive Board Member of Russian Weightlifting Federation initiated discussions with the IWF.
During the meeting, Dr. Tamás Aján IWF President and Mr. Attila Ádámfi IWF Competition Director had the opportunity to have an insight into the sporting activities ensured by the city of Kazan. Sport facilities went through a fantastic development and sport leader raised the idea of organizing World Championships in the near future. Among others, the current issues in regard to the Universiade 2013 were also underlined.
