New Albanian Federation leadership visits IWF
The newly elected Albanian Weightlifting Federation leadership paid a visit to the IWF Secretariat and were received by the IWF President at his office. AWF President Mr Elez Gjoza and the new Secretary, Mr Muharrem Berisha came to exchange information regarding a future co-operation with the IWF, with special focus on the 2013 European Championships which Albania is about to host. The Federation leaders were accompanied by Acad. Gudar Beqiraj, former President of the Federation, now its Honorary President, and currently the President of the Academy of Sciences of Albania. The Albanian guests were very satisfied with the short but very fruitful discussions.
