International Sports Information System (ISIS) kick-off meeting was held today in Lausanne.
The project, managed by ASOIF includes all Summer Olympic International Sports Federation and 25 International Federations participated at the meeting, including IWF represented by Attila Adamfi, Competition Director.
The ISIS will create a Common Data Platform where data will be gathered form International Federations, stored in a central database and provided as a data feed of information and biographies to different client group, including media and general public.
The objective of the meeting was to discuss and define the data standards, IT requirements and the harmonisation with different IF systems.
ISIS should go live at the end of 2014.
