IWF President at the European Championships
Straight from the 2013 IWF Youth World Championships held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, IWF President Dr. Tamas Ajan went directly to the European Championships in Tirana, Albania.
Mr. Gudar Beqiraj, President of the Albanian Academy of Sciences, Honorary President of the Albanian Weightlifting Federation invited the IWF President to pay a visit to the Albanian Academy of Sciences.
Dr. Tamas Ajan also visited the Prime Minister of Albania, Mr. Sali Berisha and Bujar Nishani President of the Republic of Albania with Mr. Elez Gjoza, Albanian Weightlifting Federation President.
We congratulate to the new Albanian Weightlifting Federation for their great success to prepare and organize the European Championships in Tirana – the very first in the history of Albania in any sports.
