Women’s 63kg / Men’s 77kg at the 2013 IWF JWC
Women’s 63kg
SHEN Yinyi (CHN) won the Women’s 63kg competition with 100kg achieved in the Snatch, 122kg in the Clean & Jerk and a Total of 222kg.
Junior and Youth World Champion in 2012, MOLIE Madalina Bianca (ROU) won the Gold Medal in the Snatch with 103kg. After two missed attempts in the Clean & Jerk, she finally managed to lift 118kg and took the second place both in the Clean & Jerk and in the Total.
CHIBISOVA Nadiia (UKR) only 6th place after the Snatch ended the competition with 18kg less than the Gold Medal winner from China.
Men’s 77kg
In the Men’s 77kg bodyweight category, the final battle opposed the Russian lifter UNANYAN Razmik to the Azerbaijani lifter RAHIMOV Nijat. Both athletes lifted 153kg in the Snatch, and the Clean & Jerk determined the final ranking. With a successful attempt of 192kg, UNANYAN Razmik (RUS) won the Gold Medal in the Total.
Gold Medallist in the Snatch, GUO Zhimin (CHN) had 3 missed attempts in the Clean & Jerk and ended with no results in the Total.
The Bronze Medal was awarded to KARAPETYAN Andranik (ARM) for his Total of 340kg, same as the Silver Medallist Azerbaijani lifters Total who ended before him due to lighter bodyweight.
