Weightlifting Family mourns the death of OUERTANI Marouan
The International Weightlifting Federation and the Tunisian Weightlifting Federation mourns the death of 19 year old OUERTANI Marouan who tragically passed away yesterday in Tunisia.
Promising young and talented athlete, OUERTANI competed in the 62kg bodyweight category.
2014 African Junior Champion, he won 3 Bronze Medals at the 2014 IWF Junior World Championships Kazan, RUS on 23 June. His death is a tragedy for all participants.
Weightlifting Family lost an outstanding athlete. Our sympathy and condolences goes to OUERTANI Marouen’s Family and to the Tunisian Weightlifting Federation.
