1000 days to go until Tokyo 2020
On the countdown day of 28th October, Tokyo 2020 will stage a “1000 Days To Go” celebratory event. The main street of Tokyo’s famous Nihonbashi district will be decorated with new graphics and turned into a giant sports field for the day. After watching demonstrations by athletes, the public will have the opportunity to learn about and practice some of the sports that will make their first appearance in the Olympic Games in 2020. Tokyo 2020 will upload and share photos and videos of the events on their social media platforms throughout the day.
