"I am totally clean" said Yudelkis Contreras

"I am innocent". These were her first words during the press conference . With tears in her eyes Contreras said that she was clean, aas the samples had proved it before, after and during the games as well. The shy athlete who ranked at the 5th position at the weightlifting competition in 53 kg was very sad and could hardly hide her shame. The Pan-American gold medalist said she was surprised and shocked when she heard this news at the press conference held by the Dominican Olympic Committee.
Contreras indicated that she was clean and she swore that she did not take any substance to make her results better during the Olympic Games in Beijing.
Contreras, who was accompanied by the officials of the Dominican Weightlifting Federation and also by the directors of the Dominican Olympic Committee, noted that as soon as she got of the news she became impacted very much. "I was very surprised as how is it possible that I passed many tests without any problem, all of them were negative and eight months later now they are telling me that I produced a positive sample" indicated Contreras, who is willing to do any tests to prove her innocence.
Milton Piendo the doctor in chief in the Dominican delegation during the Olympic Games also participated on the conference, and said that he would do everything, providing all the evidences to prove Contreras' innocence. "Yudelkis (Contreras) defense is based on all the medical results which were taken before and during the Games" he said.

Everything looks a bit strange here, and better if we wait for the result of the B test."
