DAJOMES BARRERA Neisi Patricia (ECU), highly experienced lifter for her fairly young age (20-year-old) excelled once again. Silver Medallist 2017 IWF World Championships, she became Junior World Champion for the third time in a row. Only DAJOMES lifted over 100kg in the Snatch and with 105kg she got her first Gold here in Tashkent. Only one day after the triumph of KOHA Rebeka, Latvia can celebrate the overwhelming victory SUHAREVS Ritvars (LAT) in the Men’s 77kg bodyweight category. On the fourth competition day of the 2018 IWF Junior World Championships, the 2017 European Junior World Champion SUHAREVS came out quite late in the Snatch with a starting weight of 148kg. He continued to raise the bar to 152kf first and 156kg – both being good lifts. He secured a 7kg advantage compared to SOLTANI Hossein (IRI) ending the Snatch on 149kg. Asian Junior Champion in 2018, SOLTANI got the Silver Medal. Third place was awarded to ARTMUYATOV Gayrat (UZB) followed closely by HARUTYUNYAN Rafik (ARM) ending 4th. As the ranking is determined by the order of performing the good lift, AHMED Esraa Elsayed Rashed Elsayed (EGY) won the Gold followd by BELKHIR Ghofrane (TUN) and FAYZULLAEVA Kumushkhon (UZB). There was only 1kg difference between the 1st and the 4th place. As much as the Snatch results were close, the Clean and Jerk was a lot clearer, where, FAYZULLAEVA, 2018 Asian Youth and Junior World Champion managed to lift 7 kg more than the two other medal contenders. Her Total was an impressive 214kg, despite being the youngest athlete in her category – only 16 years old. AHMED, Silver Medallist at the 2015 Junior World Championships, made it to a 113kg Clean and Jerk and 207kg Total. African Youth and Junior Champion in 2014, AHMED also ended 7th at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games with a Total of 216kg. She won a Gold and two Silver Medals here in Tashkent.
