In pursuit of Gold at the Asian Games
In Men’a 77kg Pang Kum Chol (PRK) showed without being contested his dominating position and won the gold medal with a substantial lead of 38kg over the bronze medalist lifter from Kazakhstan Shauyeteyev Dauren. Second place went to Pavlov Kirill (KAZ) with a Total of 325kg still 23kg less than Pang Kum Chol (348kg).
In Women’s 63kg, the Champion of the 2010 Antalya World Championships Maneza Maiya (KAZ) ranked first with a Total of 241kg. Kim Soo Kyung (KOR) ranked second right before the Chinese lifter Chen Aichan who managed to keep the third place.
