President of Ghana Weightlifting Federation elected NF President of the year 2013
Ben Nunoo Mensah, President of the Ghana Weightlifting Federation was voted by the sports writers association of Ghana (SWAG) as the best National Federation President (out of the 36 National Federation Presidents in Ghana) for the year 2013.
He received this high recognition for the tremendous work done to promote weightlifting in Ghana in the last eight (8) months.
This honour will be a major booster for Ghana Weightlifting Federation in 2014. The Federation hopes to commission a modern weightlifting hall and gym in April, and also introduce weightlifting to most of the second cycle schools in Accra and the security services in Ghana.
