IWF Anti-Doping Seminar
In the presence of Dr. Tamas Ajan, IWF President, Mohamed Yousef Al Mana, AWF President and Ali Moradi, AWF General Secretary the seminar was opened by Attila Adamfi, IWF Director General emphasizing IWF’s efforts to clean the sport, special attention given to our future, the youth athletes with education and prevention.
The experts appointed by the Chairman of the IWF Anti-Doping Commission, Dr. Patrick Schamasch gave lectures including the following topics:
– IWF Anti-Doping Strategy, General Anti-Doping information by Meechai Inwood MD, Head of Sports Medicine of Thailand
– Update on Prohibited Substances by Dr. Prapin Wilairat Ph.D. National Doping Control Center, Thailand
– Doping in Sport: Health risk & benefit? by Supornchai Kongpatanakul MD, Director, National Doping Control Center, Thailand
IWF Anti-Doping Seminar will be held in each YOG Continental Qualification Event.
