First European medal in weightlifting for Serbia
KAJDOCSI Tamas, recorder, champion and national team member of Serbia, led by national coach VERT Stipan, won three medals for Serbia at the European Youth Championships in Ciechanow (POL), held from 27 April to 3 May in 2014.
In the +94kg category, he won silver medal with 155kg in Snatch, and bronze medal in the Clean and Jerk with 185kg. With a Total of 340kg, he was awarded the bronze. He also broke National Records of Serbia.
Serbia for the first time in its history won medals at continental (European) Championships.
