IWF visit in Rome
Upon the invitation of the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) President, Giovanni Malago and Italian Weightlifting Federation (FIPE) President, Dr. Antonio Urso, IWF President Dr. Tamas Ajan accompanied by Attila Adamfi, Director General and Eva Moska, Development and Education Director paid a visit to Rome.
Discussions were held on candidature of Rome for the 2024 Olympic Games, especially about the concept of the weightlifting competitions at the Games.
After discussions at CONI the headquarter of the Italian team, the weightlifting facility at the Olympic Training Center was also visited.
