2018 Spanish Championships to be held this weekend
The Spanish Championships will kick off this Saturday, July 21 in the Municipal Pavilion of Culleredo (Galicia).
A total of 153 athletes (85 men and 68 women) will compete at the competition. Participation at the event increased by 11.7% compared to last year.
This will be the last national competition before the 2018 IWF World Championships Ashgabat, TUR from November 1 to 11.
The elite Spanish lifters be there: Lydia Valentín, Atenery Hernández, Irene Martínez and Alba Sánchez, in the women’s category, and Josué Brachi, David Sánchez, Acorán Hernández and Andrés Mata, in the men’s category.
