FATHER'S INFLUENCE
Since an early age he was at the gym alongside his father, who began training him. "I used to go with him and while he was doing his job I began lifting some bars, and little by little I increased weight. At age 12 or 13 I told him that I wanted to do the same. He was delighted but he also told me that I needed to be committed, and here I am." At the end of his career, Jonathan wants to become a weightlifting coach. He graduated in 2019 from his studies as a sports coach. He also wants to study a sports-related master's degree and a doctorate. (proceso.com.mx, 11 Aug 2019; hidrocalidodigital.com, 17 Aug 2019)
