Other information
A WOMAN AMONG MEN
She says training with men in Latvia can be challenging at times. "That's the first difficulty because they have different opinions and a different way of thinking. It's difficult sometimes to live with them, to go to training camps. It's really hard because I'm the only girl and sometimes I want to talk with somebody but they don't understand me." (torokhtiy.com, 04 Dec 2018)

ADVICE TO BEGINNERS
She believes that many weightlifters who are just beginning in the sport lack self-confidence, which can develop over time and through experience. "It is essential that they believe in themselves. But sometimes you have to go through something, you have to make mistakes in order to understand everything, to work on it and then everything will be fine. You will achieve it naturally. I think the most important thing is to believe in oneself." (torokhtiy.com, 04 Dec 2018)
