Other information
SUSPENSION LIFTED
She was provisionally suspended by the International Weightlifting Federation [IWF] in November 2017 after it was revealed she had tested positive for the prohibited substance triamcinolone acetonide during an in-competition test on 19 March 2017 in Melbourne, VIC, Australia. She had been injected with a medicine named Kenacort, which contains the prohibited substance, to treat severe knee pain. Her doctor admitted that he knew the medicine contained the substance, however she was not aware that it was included in the 2017 List of Prohibited Substances. In April 2018 her suspension was lifted after the IWF deemed that she had not committed an Anti-Doping Rule Violation.
