Sport Specific Information
When and where did you begin this sport?
He began weightlifting in 2012.
Why this sport?
He was introduced to the sport by coach Kevin Simons. He first tried CrossFit and powerlifting but he disliked the cardio element of CrossFit and the lack of competition in powerlifting. "I used to be a gymnast before I started weightlifting. My gymnastics coach [Kevin] recruited me to do CrossFit. I started doing CrossFit workouts with him. I realised that CrossFit wasn't for me, but I loved weightlifting."
