She began competing in weightlifting in about 2011.
Why this sport?
Her uncles and her cousins practised the sport. She initially took up weightlifting as a hobby with her friends, who encouraged her to pursue the sport as they thought she had potential. "I still doubted it, but when I won my first official competition I believed it, and told myself I should take it seriously."
