When and where did you begin this sport?
She began training in 2005 in Mogilev, Belarus.
Why this sport?
She was doing archery at a sports school but realised it was not the sport for her. Her roommates then invited her to train in a gym, where she tried weightlifting and enjoyed it.

SANCTION
In 2016 she tested positive for the prohibited substances drostanolone and stanozolol through reanalysis of samples she gave at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
