IWF reports that Mr. Liu Ning as an Athlete Support Personnel has been charged with Anti-Doping Rule Violations under Article 2.8 and/or 2.9 of the IWF Anti-Doping Policy. As a consequence, Mr.Ning is provisionally suspended in view of a potential anti-doping rule violation. The IWF reports that, based on the Moscow Laboratory Information Management System (“LIMS”)  information and analytical data provided by WADA I & I and the International Testing Agency (“ITA”)’s own investigation, the IWF has asserted Anti-Doping Rule Violations against Ms. Oksana SLIVENKO (RUS) under Article 2.2 of the IWF Anti-Doping Policy. As a follow up to the World Anti-Doping Agency (“WADA”)’s Intelligence & Investigations report on IWF released last fall, the ITA has received WADA’s case file (“Operation Arrow”) and after review, has decided to assert at this stage anti-doping rule violation for sample swapping against two athletes. Dumitru Captari, (ROU) and Nijat Rahimov (KAZ) have been informed today that the ITA is charging them with an anti-doping rule violation for “Urine Substitution” (Article 2.2 of the IWF Anti-Doping Rules) which would have occurred over a period of time in 2016.
