Development Program

About

The IWF launched its Development Program in 2009 with the aim of giving support to its National and Continental/Regional Federations.

Main objectives:

  • Organise, control and develop the sport of weightlifting on an international scale.
  • Assist the National Federations, Continental Federations and Regional Federations in their activities providing support.

IWF Member National Federations as well as Continental/Regional Federations have the possibility to develop their organisational, coaching, training, educational and anti-doping activities or improve in any other areas they might feel need for, with the assistance of the IWF.

How to proceed?

  • In the case of financial contribution, maximum 50% of the allocated funds may be provided in advance
